Today, Susie is in Boston (CHAAHHLSTUHN, actually), with my friend, Dianne, at her workplace. From her office, you catch a terrific view of The U.S.S. Constitution, Old North Church, the Zakim Bridge, Boston Garden (a.k.a. the GAAHHHHDEN), Bunker Hill Monument, the Tobin Bridge and the Charlestown Courthouse. Wow!
Portland, Oregon
POWELLS. Mecca for a bookstore lover.
No more words are needed, other than this one: BLISS.
Fulton, Missouri
Last weekend, cousin Corri took Susie on a Stick to the National Churchill Museum in Fulton, Missouri. Located on the campus of Westminster College (the site of his ‘Iron Curtain’ speech), the Museum commemorates the life, times, and distinguished career of Sir Winston Churchill.
Valencia, Spain
WOW – Susie’s never been to Spain, at least until last month. Matt and Patty were fun enough to let her tag along!
Here, Susie’s at the week-long Fallas Festival, during which each neighbourhood of the city presents a construction (called a falla) made of wood, plaster and paper mache, on which they’ve worked all year long. At the end of the celebration, each Falla is set on fire.
New Orleans, Lousiana
Some time last year, Matt and Patty brought Susie to New Orleans, one of my VERY favorite spots. And on a COCKTAIL TOUR, no less! MAN – I’d LOVE to travel in person with these guys!!
Universal Studios, Florida
Universal Studios – lucky Susie!
